Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CanvasKeep website and service at canvaskeep.com ("Service") operated by CanvasKeep ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of all diagrams and content you create on CanvasKeep. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you.

3. Free and Pro plans

The free plan includes limited workspaces, diagrams, and version history as described on the pricing page. The Pro plan removes these limits for a recurring fee.

Prices shown are base prices in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Final pricing, including local taxes, is calculated at checkout by our payment processor (Dodo Payments) based on your billing location.

4. Billing and cancellation

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

5. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with Pro within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, contact us at canvaskeep@gmail.com for a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Service availability

We strive to keep CanvasKeep available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for downtime.

8. Data and backups

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, row-level security), we do not guarantee data preservation. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important diagrams. We recommend exporting critical work regularly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CanvasKeep and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
